Football Recap: West Ottawa Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 37 points the game before, West Ottawa was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a blow against the East Kentwood Falcons, falling 45-8. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-0.

Abel Anaya threw for 77 yards while completing 76.9% of his passes. On the ground, Caleb Montgomery rushed for 39 yards and one TD.

West Ottawa's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for East Kentwood, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Meanwhile, East Kentwood will face off against rival Hudsonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Falcons 10.7, the Eagles 13.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
