Volleyball Recap: Colquitt County Takes a Loss

Colquitt County was the 2-0 winner over Thomas County Central when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Packers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellow Jackets on Saturday. The Packers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colquitt County was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19.

Colquitt County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Thomas County Central, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Colquitt County has already played their next contest (against Pierce County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Thomas County Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Perry on the 9th.
