Soccer Recap: Houston Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Houston kept a clean sheet against Arlington on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Houston's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked ninth, while Arlington are ranked 56th).

Houston's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four matchups. As for Arlington, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Houston is set to take on their familiar foe Collierville at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th. Meanwhile, Arlington will face off against rival Cordova at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
