Basketball Recap: Basile Comes Up Short

Basile lost against Ville Platte back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bearcats took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 76-13. The game marked the Bearcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Basile now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Ville Platte, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Basile wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 78-46 loss against Sacred Heart on the 5th. As for Ville Platte, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-51 win against Pine Prairie on the 5th.
