Basketball Game Preview: St. Christopher's Saints vs. Catholic Crusaders

St. Christopher is on a ten-game streak of home wins, while Catholic is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The St. Christopher's Saints will welcome the Catholic Crusaders on Tuesday. St. Christopher's knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Catholic likes a good challenge.

St. Christopher's is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Virginia's top teams: St. Anne's-Belfield, who was ranked sixth at the time (St. Christopher's was ranked ninth). St. Christopher's came up short against St. Anne's-Belfield on Saturday, falling 81-56. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly St. Christopher's struggled afterwards.

Meanwhile, Catholic beat Peninsula Catholic 53-46 on Sunday. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 23-8. As for St. Christopher's, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-4.
