Football Recap: Weatherford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Weatherford lost against Arlington back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Kangaroos fell 38-27 to the Colts.

Despite the loss, Weatherford still got an impressive performance from Dj Quimby, who rushed for 205 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 33 receiving yards. Quimby is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 108 every time he's taken the field this season.

Arlington got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jamar Burton out in front who rushed for 123 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries. Max Reviere was another key player, gaining 97 total yards and two touchdowns.

Weatherford now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Arlington, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Weatherford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-17 loss against Royse City on the 19th. As for Arlington, they have also already played their next game, a 28-21 victory against Haltom on the 19th.
