The third road match was the charm for Somerville, as they earned their first road win of the season. Everything went their way against the Schulenburg Shorthorns on Saturday as the Somerville Yeguas made off with a 12-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Yeguas, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Aubrey Flencher made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in walks (zero). She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
