Soccer Game Preview: Nease vs. Atlantic Coast

The Nease Panthers will head out to square off against the Atlantic Coast Stingrays at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Nease will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Monday, then bounced right back against Sandalwood on Wednesday. The Panthers' defense stepped up to hand the Saints a 6-0 shutout. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Nease's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Sandalwood with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ellie Larkin (2), Wakely Mckennon (2), Katherine Healey, and Grace Chaves.

Meanwhile, Atlantic Coast beat Maclay 2-0 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Atlantic Coast.

The win got Nease back to even at 2-2. As for Atlantic Coast, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
