Volleyball Recap: Scituate Comes Up Short

Scituate lost against North Quincy back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Sailors lost 3-0 to the Raiders. The Sailors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-19.

Jackson Davenport paced Scituate's offense, picking up six kills. Davenport got some help from Caleb Foley and his ten assists. Davenport was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Scituate's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for North Quincy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Coming up, Scituate will head out on the road to challenge New Bedford at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Whalers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Sailors surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Quincy, they will square off against Medfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
