Volleyball Recap: Jenks Gets the Win

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Jenks and Deer Creek meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Antlers 2-1. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Antlers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Jenks' win bumped their record up to 16-13. As for Deer Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-21 record this season.

Jenks will head out to take on Bartlesville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Deer Creek, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Victory Christian on the 27th.
