North Moore made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Montgomery Central, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The North Moore Mustangs put the hurt on the Montgomery Central Timberwolves with a sharp 8-1 win on Wednesday. Considering the Mustangs have won five contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Calissa Clendenin was excellent, going 2-for-3 with four RBI.
Clendenin wasn't the only one working in the hit department: North Moore kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Montgomery Central only managed four hits.
The victory made it two in a row for North Moore and bumps their season record up to 7-2.
