Basketball Game Preview: Cousino Patriots vs. Lakeview Huskies

The Cousino Patriots will square off against the Lakeview Huskies at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday. Cousino will be strutting in after a victory while Lakeview will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Cousino turned things around against Fraser on Thursday. They came out on top against the Ramblers by a score of 59-52.

Meanwhile, Lakeview lost a heartbreaker to St. Clair when they met back in January of 2024, and they left with a heavy heart again on Wednesday. Lakeview received a blow as they fell 58-43 to St. Clair. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Saints recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Lakeview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Cousino, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Cousino came up short against Lakeview when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 56-47. Can Cousino avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
