Volleyball Recap: Athens Takes a Loss

Athens lost against Stanley-Boyd back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bluejays fell 2-0 to the Orioles.

Sy'Rih Hartwig paced Athens' offense, picking up six kills. Hartwig got some help from Karly Eckert and her six assists.

Athens' loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Athens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Columbus Catholic on the 26th. As for Stanley-Boyd, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Gilman on the 26th.
