Ridgewood put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Walther Christian Academy Broncos. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rebels also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Ridgewood easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14.

Ridgewood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alex Wilk led the charge by getting 12 digs and two aces. Those 12 digs gave Wilk a new career-high. Natalia Sibiga was another key player, getting five digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good server: Ridgewood was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matchups.

Ridgewood's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Walther Christian Academy, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-5.

Ridgewood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Elmwood Park on the 16th. As for Walther Christian Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Northtown on the 16th.
