Basketball Recap: New Life Academy Takes a Loss

If New Life Academy was feeling good fresh off their 77-38 takedown of Trinity at River Ridge/Unity last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The New Life Academy Eagles were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 47-46 to the Christ's Household of Faith Lions. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

New Life Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Christ's Household of Faith, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

New Life Academy has already played their next contest (against St. Croix Lutheran), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Christ's Household of Faith wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 76-28 win against Hope Academy on the 23rd.
