Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Linfield Christian + How To Watch

Linfield Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Pacifica Christian Tritons.

Linfield Christian was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (108-104), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 29-27, 20-25, 25-23, 15-25, 15-8.

Sophie Dickinson had a dynamite game, getting 29 digs and four assists. Those 29 digs gave her a new career-high.

Linfield Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 11 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Addie Roberson and Emery Pelinka certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Roberson had six kills, three digs, and two aces, while Pelinka had 21 digs and six aces. Roberson has been hot, having also posted 20 or more assists the last five times she's played.

Linfield Christian's record now sits at 8-2. As for Pacifica Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-5 record.

Linfield Christian and Pacifica Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Lions see the court they'll take on Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Pacifica Christian, their break will end when they face Southlands Christian at 4:00 p.m. on the 25th.
