Volleyball Recap: Westerly Beats Exeter-West Greenwich for Their Tenth Straight Win

Westerly strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Scarlet Knights, too.

Westerly walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16, 25-16.

Westerly had a senior duo take command as Ella Keegan had eight digs and three aces and Abi Emery had six digs and two aces. Keegan is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Westerly's win bumped their record up to 10-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Westerly will venture away from home to face off against Prout at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Exeter-West Greenwich, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Barrington at 6:30 p.m. on the 14th.
