Volleyball Recap: Algoma Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Algoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Reedsville Panthers. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

While Algoma ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19.

Natalie Ray paced Algoma's offense, picking up four kills. Ray got some help from Ella Severinsen and her seven assists.

Algoma's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Reedsville, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Algoma has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Winnebago Lutheran Academy on the 29th. As for Reedsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Mishicot on the 29th.
