             A  win for Platteview just wasn't in the cards  on Friday as the  team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They were  outmatched by the Gretna Dragons on the road  and fell  51-14. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 Although Platteview took the loss, they still got scores from  Peyton Matthies and  Andy Islas.
 It was another big night for  Michael Knudsen, who threw for 219 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground for Gretna. Knudsen has become a key player for Gretna: the team is undefeated when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
 Platteview now  has a losing record at 3-4. As for Gretna,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-3.
 Platteview will face off against Plattsmouth at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Plattsmouth is coming into the  game with three straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Platteview will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win. As for Gretna, they will challenge Ralston at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Gretna's favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  in their last three matchups.
