Davenport has gone 8-2 against Kettle Falls recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Gorillas will venture away from home to challenge the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Davenport is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Northwest Christian School just ended the team's six-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Kettle Falls came up short against Chewelah on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Kettle Falls' loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Davenport, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 8-3.

Everything went Davenport's way against Kettle Falls in their previous meeting back in September, as Davenport made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gorillas since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
