Softball Recap: Frederick Douglass Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Frederick Douglass's offense. They fell just short of the Scott County Cardinals by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The Broncos have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Frederick Douglass' loss dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Scott County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 22-5.

Frederick Douglass has already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Great Crossing on the 14th. As for Scott County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 5-3 win against Harrison County on the 14th.
