Softball Recap: Kennedy Fighting Irish vs. Royal Highlanders

With a playoff win on the line, Kennedy rose to the challenge on Monday. Everything went their way against the Royal Highlanders as they made off with an 11-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fighting Irish.

Emory Cheng made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with three RBI and one double.
