Softball Recap: Atholton Takes a Loss

Atholton lost against Long Reach back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Raiders lost 19-8 to the Lightning. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tatiana Maltez-Rosales was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Madeline Skaggs, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.

Atholton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Long Reach, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Atholton is set to square off against their familiar foe Glenelg at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Long Reach will challenge rival Marriotts Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
