Volleyball Recap: Vallivue Takes a Loss

Vallivue was the 3-1 winner over Nampa when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-12, 14-25, 25-21, 25-18.

Daniela Alfonso paced Vallivue's offense, picking up seven kills. Alfonso got some help from Avery Daniel and her 12 assists. Daniel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Vallivue's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Nampa, their victory ended a seven-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Vallivue is set to square off against their familiar foe Caldwell at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Nampa will challenge rival Columbia at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
