The Deerfield-Windsor Knights will be playing at home against the Pinewood Christian Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Deerfield-Windsor is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Deerfield-Windsor had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 28-point drubbing they dealt Maclay two weeks ago. The Knights simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Marauders 42-14. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Deerfield-Windsor's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lane Sceals, who threw for 261 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground. 82 of Sceals' passing yards were hauled in by Brantley Michlig.
Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Pinewood Christian rose to the challenge on Friday. They really took it to the Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-28 win.
Pinewood Christian's win came from a few key players Deerfield-Windsor will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jojo Tippett, who rushed for 255 yards and four TDs on only seven carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 87 yards. Sam Wasson was another major influence, as he rushed for 180 yards and ran in a TD.
Pinewood Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 468 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Deerfield-Windsor's record is now 10-0. As for Pinewood Christian, their record now sits at 5-6.

It's a different story for Pinewood Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 247.5 total yards.
