Chippewa Valley lost to Cardinal Mooney Catholic on Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Big Reds were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Cardinals.

Chippewa Valley got a great performance from Landon Simpson as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Simpson has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Caleb Sadowski was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted over his last 13 matches. Another player making a difference was Nate Hall, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Chippewa Valley's win bumped their record up to 17-13-2. As for Cardinal Mooney Catholic, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-11-1.

Chippewa Valley will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cardinals: the pair will be back at it again later today.
