Baseball Recap: ConVal Takes a Loss

ConVal came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-2 to the Souhegan Sabers. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Sabers: they've now lost seven in a row.

ConVal now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Souhegan, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. ConVal is set to take on their familiar foe Merrimack Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Souhegan will square off against rival Lebanon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
