Softball Recap: Prince George Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Prince George's offense. They came up short against the Matoaca Warriors on Tuesday, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Royals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Prince George saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Hacker, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Prince George's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Matoaca, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Prince George does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Matoaca, they will face off against Atlee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
