Softball Recap: Dutch Fork Silver Foxes vs. River Bluff Gators

Dutch Fork entered their tilt with River Bluff with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against the River Bluff Gators on Tuesday as they made off with a 13-2 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Dutch Fork also won the last time the pair played back in March.

Lillie-Grace Moore made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Moore was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last five games she's played.

In other batting news, Olivia Hill was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Allie Boone, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Dutch Fork now has a winning record of 8-7. As for River Bluff, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dutch Fork will square off against Lexington at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lexington is coming into the matchup with three straight losses at home, meaning Dutch Fork will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. As for River Bluff, they will head out on the road to face off against Saluda at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
