Edgewood strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Mount Horeb/Barneveld Vikings by a score of 27-20. Those 27 points were actually the fewest the Crusaders have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

When it comes to explaining why Mount Horeb/Barneveld lost, don't look at Eli Maier. Despite the final result, he rushed for 60 yards and two TDs on only seven carries.

Edgewood's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Mount Horeb/Barneveld, they moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.
