Soccer Game Preview: Oak Hill vs. Delta

The Oak Hill Golden Eagles will square off against the Delta Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Oak Hill sitting on 13 straight wins and Delta on seven.

Oak Hill is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let Northwestern get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Oak Hill's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five matches.

They hit Northwestern with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Landri Hardman (2), Kora Pond, and Erika Newhouse.

Meanwhile, Delta won against Jay County on Thursday with nine goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Saturday. The Eagles put the hurt on New Castle with a sharp 9-0 win. Considering Delta have won 14 contests by more than four goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Oak Hill's victory bumped their record up to 17-0-1. As for Delta, their win bumped their record up to 17-1.
