Football Recap: Wheaton Academy Warriors vs. St. Charles East Fighting Saints
Wheaton Academy won the last time they faced St. Charles East, and things went their way on Friday too. The Wheaton Academy Warriors came out on top against the St. Charles East Fighting Saints by a score of 28-17.
Wheaton Academy had a senior duo take command as Zach Moravec picked up 133 receiving yards and three touchdowns and Nathan Downey threw for 232 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per attempt. Moravec's longest reception was for an incredible 83 yards.
The win got Wheaton Academy back to even at 1-1. As for St. Charles East, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
