You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Jordan's strategy against Riverside-Durham on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Jordan Falcons blew the Riverside-Durham Pirates out of the water with a 54-16 final score. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 24 points or more this season.

Jordan's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Valerie-ange Batta, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 13 points. Batta continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Saniyah Suiter, who went 6-for-7 en route to 15 points.

Riverside-Durham's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Au'Nehstii Hagans, who posted seven points, and Beck Arrendondo, who put up seven points. That was a full 43.8% of Riverside-Durham's points, marking the third time in a row Hagans has scored more than a third of the team's points.

Jordan's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Riverside-Durham, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-15.

Coincidentally, Jordan and Riverside-Durham will both be playing East Chapel Hill the next time they take the court. Jordan will host East Chapel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Riverside-Durham will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
