Softball Recap: Lowell Comes Up Short

Lowell fell victim to Oakland and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Oakers. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Devils' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lowell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cheyanne McNamee, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Lowell's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Oakland, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Lowell nor Oakland have any future games scheduled.
