Baseball Recap: Port Chester Rams vs. John Jay Patriots
Port Chester had lost five straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 5-12 to make it six. They came up short against the John Jay Patriots, falling 12-1. The Rams were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.
Port Chester saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adam Castaneda, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Coming up, Port Chester will welcome Mount Vernon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Knights have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.27 runs per game on average), something the Rams will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for John Jay, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-1 victory against Fox Lane on the 10th.
