Volleyball Recap: Ludlow Takes a Loss

Ludlow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Southwick Regional Rams, falling 3-0. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

While Ludlow ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-21.

Ludlow's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Southwick Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Ludlow will square off against Westfield at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Southwick Regional, they will take on West Springfield at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
