Franklinton has gone 4-0 against Independence recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Franklinton Demons will venture away from home to face off against the Independence Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Franklinton will be strutting in after a victory while Independence will be coming in after a defeat.

Franklinton played in conference for the first time on Friday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They skirted past Pearl River 75-72. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Demons have posted since December 21, 2024.

Meanwhile, Independence came up short against St. Helena College and Career Academy on Saturday and fell 57-45. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now lost six in a row.

Independence's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-11. As for Franklinton, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.

Franklinton strolled past Independence in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a score of 59-44. Does Franklinton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Independence turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
