Basketball Game Preview: Wapsie Valley Warriors vs. Jesup J-Hawks

Wapsie Valley is 1-9 against Jesup since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wapsie Valley Warriors will host the Jesup J-Hawks at 6:15 p.m.

Last Friday, Wapsie Valley lost to South Hardin on the road by a 65-46 margin. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Jesup had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.4 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They breezed by the Mustangs to the tune of 57-19. The J-Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 27 points or more this season.

Jesup pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Wapsie Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
