Football Game Preview: Wayland Warriors vs. Waltham Hawks + Official Tickets

The Wayland Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Waltham Hawks at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Wayland and four for Waltham.

On Friday, Wayland was beaten by Concord-Carlisle 42-14. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly 28 points.

Meanwhile, Waltham lost to Westford Academy at home by a 29-12 margin on Friday.

Waltham's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Wayland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Wayland against Waltham in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 31-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
