Basketball Game Preview: Buffalo Island Central Mustangs vs. Manila Lions

Buffalo Island Central and Manila are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The Buffalo Island Central Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Manila Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Buffalo Island Central and three for Manila.

Last Tuesday, Buffalo Island Central had to suffer through a 61-29 loss at the hands of Rector. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Manila ended up a good deal behind Newport on Tuesday and lost 67-51.

Manila's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Buffalo Island Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Buffalo Island Central came up short against Manila in their previous meeting back in November of 2020, falling 66-53. Can Buffalo Island Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
