High Point Christian Academy had won five straight games and Jaylen Moore did his part to make it six on Friday. The Cougars breezed past the SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles to the tune of 38-0 thanks in part to Moore, who rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 16th straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for High Point Christian Academy, racking up 14 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Moore, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

High Point Christian Academy's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Micah Russell.

High Point Christian Academy's record is now 6-0. As for SouthLake Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, High Point Christian Academy will take on Asheville School (Independent) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Moore and Shiloh Mukendi. As for SouthLake Christian Academy, they will challenge Covenant Day at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
