Volleyball Game Preview: Novato Hornets vs. Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons

The Novato Hornets will square off against the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Novato has three straight victories, Archie Williams has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Friday, Novato got the win against Marin Catholic by a conclusive 3-0.

Novato got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 32-30.

Meanwhile, Archie Williams came up short against Novato on Thursday and fell 3-1. While the Peregrine Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hornets 25-17 in the first set.

Archie Williams started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 26-24, 26-24, 25-18.

Novato pushed their record up to 8-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Archie Williams, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Novato was able to grind out a solid victory over Archie Williams when the teams last played on Thursday, winning 3-1. Does Novato have another victory up their sleeve, or will Archie Williams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
