Basketball Recap: Gerstell Academy Comes Up Short

Gerstell Academy suffered their biggest loss since February 12, 2024 on Friday. They had to suffer through a 84-55 loss at the hands of the Indian Creek Eagles. Gerstell Academy's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Indian Creek was led to victory by Kyle Harvin and Nick Parris. Harvin posted 21 points, while Parris put up 18 points. Harvin's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Jeffers, who scored nine points.

Gerstell Academy's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 10-4. As for Indian Creek, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-18 record.

Gerstell Academy has already played their next contest (against Concordia Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Indian Creek has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Archbishop Curley.
