Soccer Recap: Raleigh Charter Has No Trouble Against Wake Prep Academy

Raleigh Charter kept a clean sheet against Wake Prep Academy on Monday. They blew past the Guardians 3-0. While Raleigh Charter didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

They hit Wake Prep Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Anisha Kathpalia, Tori Lutz, and Maya Stephens.

The victory made it two in a row for Raleigh Charter and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Wake Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1.

Coincidentally, Raleigh Charter and Wake Prep Academy will both be playing East Wake Academy the next time they take the pitch. Raleigh Charter will head out to face East Wake Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Wake Prep Academy will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
