Basketball Recap: Johnson Bayou Takes a Loss

Johnson Bayou lost against Starks back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Johnson Bayou Rebels took a hard 56-42 fall against the Starks Panthers. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Johnson Bayou's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Starks, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season.

Johnson Bayou won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hackberry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Starks, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Bell City at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bell City will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Starks surely won't give up without a fight.
