Basketball Game Preview: Seabreeze Sandcrabs vs. University Titans

The Seabreeze Sandcrabs are taking a road trip to challenge the University Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Seabreeze is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 56 points on Thursday, they were much more limited against The First Academy on Friday. They were beaten by the Royals 64-30.

Despite the defeat, Seabreeze saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Reece Casto went 5 of 9 en route to 16 points. The contest was Casto's sixth in a row with at least ten points.

Meanwhile, University came up short against Crescent City on Saturday and fell 60-50.

University's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Seabreeze, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything went Seabreeze's way against University when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as Seabreeze made off with a 67-42 win. Does Seabreeze have another victory up their sleeve, or will University turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
