Hartford Central was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against North Warren Central on Friday. The Tanagers put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 11-1 victory. Considering the Tanagers have won three contests by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win got Hartford Central back to even at 4-4. As for North Warren Central, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1-1.

Meanwhile, North Warren Central is set to face off against their familiar foe Granville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
