Softball Recap: Tillamook Comes Up Short

Tillamook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Seaside Seagulls. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Seagulls this season, with their most recent defeat being a 13-9 loss on Monday.

Tillamook's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Seaside, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-14.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tillamook will face off against rival St. Helens at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Seaside is set to square off against their familiar foe Scappoose at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
