Basketball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Gervais last Friday, Kennedy came back down to earth. The Kennedy Trojans fell 48-41 to the Santiam Wolverines on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now lost eight in a row.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Santiam, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Kennedy will take on Chemawa Indian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Santiam, they will square off against Salem Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Salem Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Santiam surely won't give up without a fight.
