Johnson and Chestatee are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. Johnson will venture away from home to take on Chestatee at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Johnson didn't have quite enough to beat Dawson County and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Chestatee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against North Hall, falling 7-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Chestatee were already down 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Alison Aguilar, who's now up to two this season.

Chestatee's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Johnson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Everything went Johnson's way against Chestatee in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Johnson made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Johnson since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
